Fully functioning set of spice tools. Inspired by the interaction of opposing forms; 12" King and Queen.

I selected these two profiles for their shared elevations and contrasting forms. Their complement evokes the image I wished to express, and their contrast fulfills the project specifications. Three-tiered construction.

A honey stain was used to retain the warmth of the birchwood. The completed set is fully-functioning; one mill holds peppercorns, the other sea salt.
